Mass Designers have accumulated considerable experience and insights in creating contemporary workspace environments.

From open-plan work areas to glazed cellular offices, with break out areas and meeting rooms, localised coffee points and kitchenettes, staff canteens, board rooms and receptions to meet all budgets and operational requirements.

We can tailor a bespoke response to your work environment needs.

We can advise on temporary work areas including 'hot-desking' and permanent workstations with all incorporated services. We have designed bespoke desking systems with distinctive worktops and frame components and worked with many desking system manufacturers, including specialised system storage.


Stand/ sit desking and work space storage are critical workstation considerations, together with appropriate certified seating and lighting.

We give detailed consideration to every aspect of the design of the working environment and the end users and are used to working with Facilities Managers, Estates personnel, A/V systems specialists, furniture systems suppliers and logistics operators. We can either design your office space as a series of bespoke items - or work with nominated furniture system specialists. We have provided many ingenious solutions for cable management and integrated HVAC services and can work closely with FM to identify and manage dedicated printer/ copier hubs.

We perceive that the lighting, materials and finishes, directional and corporate signage, furniture and fittings, doors and hardware, reception areas, board room furniture, circulation areas, toilets, entrance area, storage and kitchens/ canteens/ coffee points are all part of one great integrated solution, for which we can act as the single point of contact, maintaining the ownership and vision for the project on your behalf.


We are passionate about creating unique and memorable spaces and so will employ our creative abilities to create a distinct concept that is appropriate, stimulating and rewarding to visit and in which to work! We will create all the construction information necessary to accurately cost and implement your project, liaising with statutory bodies and landlords to gain permissions, licences and consents.

Finally, we will act as 'design guardians' during the construction period to ensure all design objectives are met and realised on your behalf.


We have consulted on virus safe environments and can recommend and design protective screening solutions, propose internal circulation policies and work with you on your risk assessments and audits to provide a safe workspace environment.
